Luke and Jaalah Kanagy are eager to use their gifts and abilities to bring hope to isolated people in Brazil. Raised as missionary kids, Brazil has always been considered home to Luke and Jaalah.

The Kanagys will be based in Boa Vista along the Branco River. As a pilot, Luke will have the opportunity to bring physical and spiritual transformation to remote people groups. Jaalah is ready to join the ministry of the local church and disciple young women.

Passionate about supporting the church and evangelism efforts, Luke and Jaalah look forward to serving God in this unique ministry with MAF.

Build Relationships: We believe that sharing the Gospel is all about intentional
relationships with people from all different walks of life. We are encouraging our students to be intentional about building Gospel-fueled relationships with lost students and with other believers on campus.

Explore Truth: College is a time of exploration. Do I really believe what I grew up being taught to believe? What is Christianity really about? What does it mean to walk with Jesus? We exist to offer a compass to help find those answers through finding answers in God's Word. Our weekly meetings, Bible studies, and relationships help provide answers to questions students are asking.

Follow Jesus We are not interested in giving students head knowledge that doesn't transform their walk with Christ. We seek to equip students with the truth so they can follow Jesus wherever He might lead.

Lance & Jessica Kanagy

Lance and Jessica are excited to take part in the Great Commission by serving as missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship. As a pilot/ mechanic, Lance will use aviation to spread the Gospel to isolated people through aviation. Jessica desires to have a ministry with women and children.

God calls the men and women of MAF to serve Him in unique ways. He may also be calling you to a special role in Lance and Jessica’s ministry. Please prayerfully consider becoming a Ministry

Daniel & Tara Rice

Japan • IMB, Southern Baptist

Daniel was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. His family raised him with an emphasis on missions and missionaries. That had a great impact on his life and is a major reason why he is serving as an IMB missionary. God, in His wisdom and foresight, led Daniel to serve in Japan as a Journeyman with the IMB and that led to where he and his wife are now; coordinators of the Connect 2020 Olympics ministry plan.

Tara, Pastor Ben’s niece, was born and raised in Oceanside, California. She attended California Baptist University and was exposed to missions for the first time. She was put on a short-term mission team of young women going to Japan. There, the Lord broke her heart for the Japanese and the hopelessness that they face without Christ.

God has given Daniel and Tara a great love and compassion for the Japanese and they desire to lead their family in loving and ministering among the Japanese for the remainder of their lives.

Both native Idahoans from the Treasure Valley, Pastor Mike and his wife Tera have been married for 19 years and have three boys. Pastor Mike runs his own landscaping and lawn business, and Tera is a kindergarten teacher at Treasure Valley Classical Academy in Fruitland. Mike and Tera have been doing ministry

work since 2004. In 2011, they were called to Wyoming where they served until being called back to the Treasure Valley in 2019 to plant New Life Baptist Church in Ontario, OR.

Some of you may remember that Jerry and Bonnie Martin, part of the Abundant Life and RCC forever family, are currently serving with Pastor Mike. Bonnie and Jerry have a long history of ministering to new Church plants over 40 plus years of ministry. New Life has an outreach goal by the end of summer 2021 to reach all 6,000+ addresses in Ontario for an opportunity to hear the gospel message. In partnership with Iglesia Nueva Esperanza Bautista, who share their building, they will disciple all those who receive the message.

Isrrael, Nellia & Elizabeth Rodriguez

My full name is Isrrael David Rodriguez Lea. I am 40 years old, married to Nellia Karina Fuentes Diaz for 13 years, and we have one daughter, Elizabeth Rodriguez Fuentes.

I grew up in a Christian home. Studied electrical engineering and English in Venezuela. Nellia also grew up in a Christian home and became a dentist. God chased us for a number of years until we decided to listen to his voice and do what He said.

We share God's love story thru medical missions and feeding programs. We are able to serve our communities in Venezuela at 3 different locations: Valencia, El Tigre and Ciudad Bolivar, with a little over 200 kids being fed a hot meal on Sundays. We have an opportunity to share the gospel with them, then God opens doors in the homes so that the gospel is also presented to their parents. As result of this ministry families started to show up in church wanting to have the bread of life. When you have a close relationship with Jesus, you can also have what comes from his hand.
